why cans?
For one, the flavours and the aroma’s of the beer keep much better in a can.
Furthermore, recycling cans requires less energy compared to recycling/cleaning glass bottles. In most countries, cans are collected separately from other waste, so most cans end up being recycled.
Additionally, transporting stapled cans is more efficient and lightweight than transporting plastic boxes filled with bottles of beer. Same thing goes for bar fridges: a lot of cans fit in one fridge, which minimizes energy consumption.
And last but not least, the plastic from our sixpacks is a 100% recycled.
